So can we all agree that Fleury being shoved down our throats in trade proposals because 'we need a solid goalie' is getting pretty annoying?

The irony is that Fleury is one of eleven goalies among the thirty-five with 10+ games played who has an adj.FSV% that is negative. Meanwhile Chad Johnson has the 7th-best adj.FSV%.
Admittedly Elliott is bad right now though, he has the worst adj.FSV% among those thirty-five. But he has history on his side as one of the best goalies for a five year span in the league.
Considering Engelland lives in Vegas in the off-season do you guys think he would be of interest to Vegas?
While I have nothing against Engelland, if he signs there it would save us from possibly losing Kulak or another younger player to Vegas.
Yes, I think we do. Whether there's any takers is another matter (but I'd love to recover that 2nd if possible)I wonder if we will look into trading Elliott at the deadline if Johnson is still the starter at that point.
Yes, I think they would. They wouldn't talk to him until he hits UFA, most likely, as they may want to poach someone else who may be exposed on the Flames.Considering Engelland lives in Vegas in the off-season do you guys think he would be of interest to Vegas?

It saddens me how people in our fanbase want to trade guys like Giordano, Brodie, and Hamilton. Literally our three best defensive defensemen.
Our defensive problems are at forward and fourth/sixth defenseman (replace Wideman with Oduya and Engelland with Bieksa and Monahan with Jankowski and suddenly this is one of the best defensive teams in the league)
Oduya's not bad but within two years there's no way he doesn't decline,
but Bieksa? Common.
Based upon any metrics that don't have Brett Kulak carrying Engelland.
You would rather have the 30/29th ranked PK in the league than not the 30/29th ranked PK in the league?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not the biggest Bieksa fan. But any slight improvement at vet minimum cost is what this team needs on the bottom pair. Nothing over $1.0M and no one as bad at killing penalties as Engelland.
Engelland himself isn't the problem. The problem is that he shouldn't be on the PK to begin with. Neither should Bieksa.
If Engelland could be next year's Grossmann I wouldn't complain.
