Ignoring the thread title, the initial argument was that Vasilevskiy was a generational prospect at the goalie position, and looks like he has a decent chance to become a generational goalie. Its similar with McDavid. He was a generational prospect, but he'll need to prove himself for years in the NHL to be a generational player.

What is wrong with that?
