Burish had TWO broken fingers. Pins inserted. Could be back by playoffs. (circa 4/16).

Nice to get back out there tonight. Guys are shooting pucks like bullets lately... http://instagram.com/p/mE9nGmPiJW/
Damn, that's going to be rough when he gets older. Does the NHL say anything about someone fighting with pins/rods in their hands? I'm just remembering when Tootoo had to remove some tape from his hand before his tilt with Staubitz.
Burish won't be able to do anything with those pins in. They'll have to be removed. My friend smashed his fingers (two) and they put pins in. If it was the same procedure, they literally have pins in your fingers coming out of the tips. You couldn't bend them even if you wanted, let alone punch someone (so painful to even consider).
Anyways, he won't be back unless it is very late in the playoffs.
Yowza, that sounds so gnarly.
Torres has been skating (with the team; no orange) for a few weeks.
This "return" to the IR may be cap related more than anything.
(IOW, he could play if he had to, circa 75%, but pushing to be 100%)
