Sure, I could change my opinion if someone brings some new info/details to the table that I never previously considered. To what degree my opinion changes, depends on the info/details presented. Isn't that how everyone thinks?

I certainly wouldn’t say everyone’s opinion changes.

If you mean that over time people change their expectations of a player based on age/role, then probably.
