His beatdown of Raffi Torres is one of my favorite Bruins memories. I was so pumped to see that cheapshoting punk get what he deserved. Mcquaid was a great Bruin and I hope he has success in NY.
Mcquaid wasn’t just a great fighter, I’m pretty sure he led the league in plus minus one season. He was old reliable. I still think Mcquaid is more reliable and less mistake prone then Miller, but the difference is not huge.
It says a lot about how deep the team was, and also how reliable Mcquaid was defensively.He didn't lead the league, but in 2010-11 he was 5th at +30. Z led at +33 that year
