DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage... against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage!,

Very literary GDT! I'm sure Dylan Thomas had no idea his poem about death was going to be used to encourage hockey excellence.

He did drink himself into a coma five years after writing it...very sad. Hopefully the Pens play against NJD will not invite similar drinking....

Excited but also a little worried. The way we're playing defense lately and with no Murray in we could be in for some long nights. The team will probably stubbornly try to score its way out of trouble and it might work but I hope they get back to committed team defense. Don't leave Desmith/Jarry out to dry. They aren't Murray and we will lose games if we don't defend in front of them.

What I'd like to see :

Guentzel - Sid - Hornqvist
Hagelin - Geno - Rust
ZAR - Brassard - Kessel
Kuhnhackl - Sheahan - Sheary

Dumoulin - Letang
Oleksiak - Schultz
Maatta - Ruhwedel/Pedan

Any ideas on how the new lines will look?

Read Sheary might end up with Brassard and Phil.

Guessing what, Jake and Rust with Sid then?

I would like Guentzel with Crosby now that 59 looks like he has his jump back. On the flip side, Sheary and Kessel together sounds potentially disastrous. We’ll really get to see how good Brass is defensively.

Question, center ice face off, player x wins draw, passes to player y, player y put the puck in his own net with anyone from the other team ever touching the puck. Who gets credit for the goal?

From a normal faceoff doesn't it go back to who last touched the puck for the scoring team before the stoppage?

Have no idea what they would do if that happened from the opening draw.

It can also go to the closest player from the team that gets the goal in some cases...
