He's playing fine, why send him down? He was on pace for 200 points at one point, so we all knew he could go on stretches without scoring. Still on pace for 70 points...

and for two games straight hes been a non factor. fine keep him for the next game. but if its the same old against the sharks i say give him some time against weaker competition.

We've historically struggled against the Sharks. Hope that's changed.
That was back when they were pretty good.

Now, they've looked like TRASH in most of their games, aside from Buffalo and Montreal. Who have looked bad when playing everybody. Even the Rangers have their only win against trash Montreal.

They looked fine against the Flyers, but Martin Jones was trash in that game and sunk them.

I thought the Kucherov goal was a stoppable one. Not a terrible goal like the two bad one's tonight, but still stoppable. Hit his glove and went in.

I didn't like 2 of the goals in the Caps game either, although one was from Ovechkin and I doubt most guys are gonna score on him that way. One of the Oshie goals just beat him straight up, while he was in position for it. Think it was the fourth goal of the game and another PP goal.

Meh. Kucharov and Ovie are making a lot of goalies look silly right now.

Kucharov’s goal streak finally came to an end tonight.

How was he a non-factor against Tampa? He had some huge penalty killing for us, including killing a bunch of time off the clock in the last minute while down a man. Again tonight he had some good PK work, as well as a couple fantastic 5on5 shifts. Just because he's not getting on the scoresheet it doesn't mean he isn't a factor.

His play hasn't slipped and he still controls the puck when he has it... still good on the PK. I don't see the reason to send him down... Unless you expected a 40-60 pt yr from him after 3 games

no im not saying that. but they have a decision to make here. this isnt some high draft pick. this is a guy who came out of nowhere. his game had picked up even before the season but we are here now and have to make the right moves with him or else he can go the way of so many others who had a hot start. this is where we see what our coaches are made of. im not saying im right and you are wrong i just think it should be an option.

he has been invisible out there. honestly i havent even seem him as of late. havent heard his name called. maybe its just me, and thats more than likely but i think he can use a few games in a lower league to get back to what we saw early on.

Honestly I am fine with the on ice defensive mess ups for the most part.

This is a blue line that is really young, inexperienced, and needing at least one more talented Dman.

For all of the above that aren’t doing too bad a job.

We just need to really crack down on penalities. That isn’t acceptable and it has nearly cost us a few times.

Give me a break, Eddy. It's not like the Devils are committing penalties on purpose. Did you watch the same CLOWN-SHOW by the stinking officials on the ice that I did? Like against the Bolts, they were practically giving the Sens opportunities to score against us. They suck and I hate them.

If he skates hard works the PK and finishes with 40 points it’s a great season. We need to recall the NJ leaders last year barely broke 50 points. The team isn’t likely to have multiple 80 point players and 60 points for an unheralded 19 year old rookie is asking a lot. At some point the vets will run out of gas a bit and the younger players will feel the effects of the bumps and bruises and NJ comes back to the pack somewhat. Letting Bratt pace himself so he has something left over the course of the season is good management.
