I know it's not going to happen, but I'd love to see someone ask AV why he thinks that G and Klein have been better defensive defensemen. I'm just curious as to see his thought process and reasoning

I mean it's obvious that's what he thinks. Is there a worse coach in the league at evaluating defensive talent?

What are the chances Girardi goes down to block a hammer shot from Ovi and it hits his knee cap and shatters it? It's looking pretty good

I don't wish injury upon him, but a permanent scratch I wouldn't be opposed to.

Aaand that's my breaking point.

Fire all three of the bench coaches, I literally do not care anymore what they've accomplished the past 2 years.

I'm gonna hope he really wanted to say "I can't scratch the long tenured vet that my front office worked to sign long term at big dollars for the rookie" rather than honestly believing Girardi is a better defenseman than McIlrath.

They have to get the kid back into some games though. What does it do,it his confidence if he comes in, plays solid for a month + With solid fancy stats then sit him for a month straight. Sit Boyle to rest him once every 5 games at least.

They do realize he needs to continue to develop so he can take over Boyles spot permanently next season right? Or are they going to look elsewhere for a more offensive Dman to replace Boyles offense?

I have a sick feeling McI will be part of a trade before the deadline and unless they are getting a legit young quality player in the package McI is in I will be pissed.
