I really like the lineup but Nemec isn´t going to start. And it will be huuuge issue. There won´t be literally no one who can offensively drive from behind on top level. I also wonder if Pobezal gets a chance

Nemec will be there unless he is absolutely a regular NHLer and too important for NJ. I see his scenario similar to Dylan Guenther from team Canada this year, where he gets released to play for the team.

Hopefully then. What about Pobezal? Is he good enough to be there during the next WJC or is it too soon? I´m not following him too closely.

I think he could be there but he will need to beat out someone like Dej. Sotek had a good tournament I think he’ll be there next year for sure

If Adam Nemec does well in Nitra U20 he has a chance to be in the team.

Wow. What an amazing team. I see a lot of similarities to Czech team WJC 2022-2023.. now ended tourney was like the needed experience where you found out you can win over the best teams and next year... better watch out. I'm calling it now.. Slovakia in the finals next year. Simon Nemec will be needed for that though..

Devils are stacked at D and Hughes is probably ahead of Nemec already. I see Nemec starting in the AHL next year, get a few games in the NHL, but will be made available for that tournament I believe. However he might chose not to go, like Simon Edvinsson did this year.

Is Fenes going to stay as a main coach? In Extraliga, I can see a few coaches who can potentially replace him. My hot take is Gergely Majoross.

If Adam Nemec does well in Nitra U20 he has a chance to be in the team.

People who saw him on last U16 national team games said, he was lost. It is something different to collect points in our U18 regional league, as it is to play international hockey.
Just saying, what i heard.

Cedzo will not make this team. Sotek is much better all around player, and very good 2 way and I think coaches found something with him and Misiak together. Personally I would slide Misiak to C and put Pekarcik as LW4

I liked Pisoja at LD, if he starts playing regularly in Michalovce, he will be on the roster. If both Slaf and Nemec were available this would be hell of a team. Btw, two very good goalies as well in Gajan and Urban.
