So McCagg says he spoke to a member of the Habs org and they don’t expect him in Laval to end the year or next year. Timra rumours seem legit.

It will be interesting to see what happens this off season or end of next hockey year. We need to sign him before next summer or we lose him for nothing. I think if they feel he won’t sign that he’ll be used as a trade chip.

Who?

Goal - 3:42
Goal - 15:00
Assist - 7:28
Assist - 9:38
Assist - 13:07

One of the few games I seen him make multiple questionable decisions with the puck. Not even that bad but just…questionable as he’s usually so smart.

That being said, what a game. Great backchecking, physicality, shooting.

He’s gonna be a real Swiss army guy for us possibly. You can see he could play anywhere in the line up.

Don’t know what his ceiling is but he’ll be a beauty even if he’s a bottom 6 guy

Looks like Vaxjo took another game vs Lulea, no points for Eriksson. Vaxjo leads the series 3-0.

Engstrom and Rogle are in double OT 2-2. Rogle would also go up 3-0 with a win. Engstrom is at 28 of TOI or thereabouts. 4 SOG. Magnus nygren has 33+ TOI for Farjestad.

Kalpa dropped their first game of the series against Ilves, but sill have a 2-1 lead. No points for Kapanen.

We could have a couple of players and prospects representing their country at the WC this year. Kids like Suzuki, Caufield, Slafkovsky, Newhook. Roy, Ylonen, Guhle, Xhekaj, Harris, Struble and prospects like Oliver Kapanen, David Reinbacher, Sean Farrell, Emil Heineman, Jakub Dobes., Lane Hutson, Adam Engstrom.. It will be interesting to see how many of them will take part to the competition.

Games on the docket today:

- Kostenko @ 11:30AM ET. Game 6 of HC Yugra vs Khimik. Yugra leads series 3-2. A win today and they pass to the next round.
- Kapanen @ 12:30PM ET. Game 4 of KalPa vs. Ilves. KalPa leads series 2-1.
- Engstrom @ 2PM ET. Game 4 of Rogle vs. Farjestad. A chance for the sweep today and for Rogle to upset 1st place Farjestad.
- Eriksson @ 2PM ET. Game 3 of Vaxjo vs. Lulea. Much like Rogle, Vaxjo with a chance to complete the sweep.

Kapanen with 2 assists in a 4-2 win. He assisted on the winning goal and the insurance goal in the final 3 minutes of the game to secure the win. So he continues to be clutch.

He did miss a penalty shot in the first period, though.

Hugo needs to make sure Kapanen comes to camp next seasons, if he doesn't sign this summer why would he sign at the end of next season when he can be free to go where he wants come june 1st 25
