Volokhin down 1 in the first period.. 5 on 3 blast from the point off some movement.

after playing all of last season in the KHL, Kostenko dressed in today's VHL game. I plan on watching him and Volokhin's games. I watched a little of Gordin's game yesterday, he was in the VHL on the 2nd line and had 6 pims despite having 8 all of last season. He looked quicker at least.

Not a banner game for Volokhin from the snippets I watched today.

2nd goal was a weird finish but goals 1 and 3 were the same-ish as goal 1 yesterday. Not tracking the puck well enough off a shot when movement happens to shift the ice.

I agree that he is nothing to write home about. But I'm a completist, so until he's no longer a Habs prospect, I'm unable to not mention him.

He stopped all 8 in the shootout after making two huge saves on the PK in OT.

Nice to hear! I think scouts did well with these 3 goalies. Fowler, Miller and Volokhin looks have all great potential. We never know with goalies and they have great qualities like Dobes.
