so like...vegas.....It would be a major loophole if the Sharks could trade a LTIR Hertl or Couture and have them get healthy for their new teams to start Playoffs.

Why can't the NHL just do: "your roster must be cap compliant in the playoffs". This is a reasonable middle ground between "your organization must be cap compliant" and "the more your management is willing to exploit stupid loopholes the more likely you are to win the cup" (the present rule)so like...vegas.....
