Why can't the NHL just do: "your roster must be cap compliant in the playoffs". This is a reasonable middle ground between "your organization must be cap compliant" and "the more your management is willing to exploit stupid loopholes the more likely you are to win the cup" (the present rule)

Requires a change to CBA. Suggestion is that playoff game roster must be cap compliant.

Yea, the on ice roster should be compliant but they have to carry extra bodies

Shut him down...there's nothing to play for. Give Couture the whole offseason to recover and hope it doesn't flare up again next year.
