Well, based on last year's playoffs and the start of this year. Cooper may need to tweak his preferred style. Getting a feeling the game is passing the Lightning by in front of our eyes. We are looking old and slow.

In all honesty, probably Myers. They may want to see how prepared Perbix is. I would've given up on Foote ages ago. Myers wouldn't have been on the team if i could've helped it. Neither are huge pieces going forward, just cheap stop gaps. Give Perbix a shot and see if he brings more to the team than Foote. Once Bogo gets back, there's a top 4 spot (realistically we don't use Bogo as RD #1) available.

No Myers in the lineup. Any word if he's been sent to the AHL since he doesn't have to pass through waivers again for the next few weeks?

edit: Looks like he's banged up

Gary Bettman after a 4-hour Board of Governors meeting tells assembled media here in NYC that the escrow balance likely will be paid off at end of season by players. And if so, the salary cap will jump this summer by around $4M. But if not fully paid, cap goes up just $1M.

If the cap does jump to 86.5 instead of 83.5, that would allow Tampa to much more comfortably re-sign everyone not named Killorn and probably still have some room to add a better depth dman on either the left or right, and/or a decent middle to bottom 6 F on a short term deal.

You damn well know that extra $4M is going to be given to Killorn. There is no way he doesn't retire as a Bolt, and there is no way JBB doesn't give it to him.

I'm good with just completely sucking shit and tanking so we can stop swinging at pick 46 hoping we found Brayden Point again. Trade some dudes, actually have cap space and draft picks. The lottery is a complete crap shoot. Literally the only thing this team's never done is have one of those "We've been following him since he was 13" 1st overall picks. If we gamble and lose our at least we'll keep our pick inside the top 10

We nearly three peated. I'm cool if we gotta reload for a minute like Chicago did way back when

What’s with this two early season back to back nonsense with extra days off in between? Ridiculous
