Had someone told you at the start of the season this would be the ECHL's Eastern Conference Final, nobody would have batted an eye.

It's a bit more surprising now, with Newfoundland having knocked out the conference's top seed, the Reading Royals, in the North Division Finals, winning Monday night's Game 7, 4-2. Newfoundland held Reading to just 16 shots on goal in the process. ...
