Life sucks as an Indy Fuel fan. Sometimes I wonder if the organization even tries to put out a winner, or if they just want to make the Blackhawks happy.

The times I've been to an Indy home game, your owner was either sitting in the crowd or engaged in convo with fans on the concourse. So he seems pretty accessible to ticketholders. I don't suppose asking him your question would be likely yield a satisfactory response?

Mariners Clinching Scenarios:
Maine wins in Reg, OT or SO
Maine loss in Reg & Worcester loss in Reg
Maine loss in OT, SO & Worcester loss in Reg, OT or SO
A few caveats.... The ECHL will use as many decimal placements as possible to determine the points percentage.
If Maine finishes with 73 points and Worcester with 72 points, Worcester would advance based on Maine's .5069 vs Worcester's .5070
Should Maine (72 points) and Worcester (71 points) end tied in points percentage (.500), Worcester holds the tiebreakers. First tiebreaker is regulation win percentage.

With Kalamazoo losing to Toledo on Friday night, and Cincinnati earning a point in their home shootout loss vs. Indy, the Cyclones have clinched the 4th playoff slot in the Central. Saturday night's results will establish whether Wheeling or Cincinnati will be the 3rd seed.
Still waiting for the 4th teams to join the post-season guest lists in the South Division (Greenville & Orlando are separated by 0.022 percentage points) and in the Mountain Division (Allen ahead of Idaho by 0.012). The Swamp Rabbits have two more regular season games to go, the other three hopefuls just Saturday night to set their future plans.
I'll leave all the tiebreaker scenarios to the mathematicians.

Rosters announced for 2022 Kelly Cup Playoffs

The ECHL on Tuesday announced the rosters for the 16 teams who have qualified for the 2022 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Playoff Rosters consist of a maximum of 24 Players – a 20-man active roster and a four-man reserve list. Upon submission of its Playoff Roster, each Member is required to include:
1. a minimum of 17 active, available (i.e. not injured or on recall) skaters to its Active Roster, and at least two (2) eligible goaltenders to its initial Playoff Roster.
2. a list of all other Players who meet the Playoff Roster Eligibility requirements, but who are unavailable at the time that Playoff Rosters are due to the League Office due to recall to the AHL or NHL. The Playoff Eligible List may only list Players who are unavailable due to recall. All other players (i.e. injured Players) must be listed on a Member’s initial Playoff Roster (active roster or reserve list) in order to participate in the Playoffs.
Throughout the Playoffs, but prior to the start of the Kelly Cup Finals, as the recalled Players listed on a Member’s Playoff Eligible List become available (due to assignment, release from PTO or their respective AHL teams’ seasons having ended), Members shall be permitted to supplement their initial Playoff Rosters with Players listed on their Playoff Eligible Lists, up to a maximum of 24 Players total. Once a Member has named a total of 24 Players to its Playoff Roster, or the Kelly Cup Finals have begun (whichever comes first), the Member’s Playoff Roster shall be fixed for the duration of the Playoffs (barring emergency conditions).
A Player who has finished the Regular Season on Injured Reserve may still be named to a Member’s 24-man Playoff Roster and will be eligible to participate in the Playoffs once his full IR time has been completed (provided all other playoff eligibility requirements have been satisfied). Once a Player has fully completed his remaining IR time, he may be activated and placed on the Member’s Active Roster.
Emergency conditions shall be established when the playing strength of the Member, by reason of injury, illness, recall or suspension by the League, is reduced below two (2) goalkeepers and sixteen (16) skaters. However, should a Member release a Player(s) from its Playoff Roster, its emergency conditions will drop by the same number as the Players they release. Only amateur players may be signed and added to the Active Roster under emergency conditions. ...

I've been arguing with the Glads off and on today as they immediately reached out asking if I wanted to renew my tix. I told them I've been watching hockey at various levels for 40+ years and have never seen where a team, with the higher seed, had to play four straight games on the road because of scheduling issues. I've been watching some of the other ECHL playoff games and other teams announcers have commented on how bizarre and unheard of this was.
And it figures they lost each of the first three by one goal. Last night they just gave up. Still, they should have been able to win at least one or two in Jax, but they were (I think) 5-1 vs the Icemen at home. Very disappointing.

I wouldn't say it is unheard of or bizarre. It certainly isn't ideal, but has happened in the ECHL plenty of times before. Teams have sometimes played at practice rinks as well. There was a series several years ago where all the games were scheduled at the lower seeded teams arena. I think they also had a year or two when they had five game series in the early rounds, and the format was 3-2. Higher seed got to choose if they wanted the first three at home or the last two at home.

Yeah I've heard of things like that happening occasionally, very occasionally. But never four in a row, esp. over a two-week period. The gall of the team too, my sales rep called the next day about next season's ticket packages, saying how great the home ice ATL had was, etc....I was like oh yeah? Would have been nice to get some of that home ice in the playoffs.
I get that it's minor league hockey, but its been growing and growing over the 20 years I've been watching. Fans are shelling out more and more dough and to get shafted like that because someone can't schedule properly is ridiculous.
