Formenton and Pinto are in the NHL right now and should never look back IMO. Formenton is going to be a luxury 3rd line player, ala Connor Brown. His speed is elite and it creates big problems for the opposition. His presence on the ice alone means the other team can't go "all in" on offense, there's always a D-man back looking/trying to prevent him to go on a breakaway, it's kinda funny. Our PK with guys like Forms, Connor Brown and Shane Pinto is going to be hell. Pinto is a Bergeron type player. The question is how much % good of Patrice can he be? I'd say his floor is a bigger Pageau/Danault (better shot than Danault), which is very appealing. They are better skaters though

Sogaard, Sokolov, Crookshank, Greig = future NHLers. Remains to be seen how good they can become but they are pretty good prospects, much better than the very modest hype you've heard from internet sources.

Abramov and Thomson will play in the NHL but the question is how many games? They have pretty good skill/talent but their overall games will never be perfect so that could play against them. It means that to be able to stay in the league, they will need to bring something to the table every game and in their case, it's scoring/offense/puck movement

Kelly, Kastelic, Reinhardt should at least get a cup of coffee somewhere. We can probably add Curtis Douglas to that small group of potential 4th liners. They play the "right way"

I can't see Logan Brown not being a NHLer too. He turned 23 y/o two months ago but has ONLY played 118 pro games over the course of 3 seasons (93 in AHL + 25 in NHL, + 4 NHL GP in 2017-18)... It's a gigantic reason as to why he isn't in the NHL yet. It's like he missed more than a FULL season of development...

Here is the Baddock hit on Cassels. From a distance it looked a lot dirtier than it actually was. Douglas was fully ready to go with Baddock but the refs broke it up.

Baddock later fought Labate and the video of that is below. From Troy Mann's comments he said he didn't like it because apparently Labate asked Baddock to go and he said no and then as soon as the puck dropped Baddock dropped the gloves and jumped Labate.

Also here are the highlights from last game.

It appears certain that the Ottawa Sens and their B-Sens prospects are going to finish the season on a tear - a harbinger of greater things to come next season.

Assuming the B-Sens are fully replenished with eligible players for the final five games beginning May 14, here's a potential line-up:

Jarventie - Brown - Sokolov
Crookshank - Greig - Kelly
Abramov - Peca - Shaw
Reinhardt - Kastelic - Beaudin

Aspirot - Williams
Labrie - Thomson
Alsing - Dougherty

Oh true, yeah could have included JBD in that lineup but forgot him

They weren't on the CDR because they weren't in the AHL at that moment, right? Some AHL games would have been good for them...
Yup, it’s a stupid rule that needs to be updated.

Wasn’t on the clear day roster, same as JBD
Normally they paper transaction guys down who don't require waivers, not sure why we wouldn't have done that with Pinto and JBD among others...

They weren't signed yet and we couldn't go ATO since they had to be given a game to burn an ELC year.

Id be shocked if they didn’t make Jarventie play his way up the lineup. Abramov and co should be way ahead of Jarventie.

Hopefully Jarventie looks just a smidge better than he did at the WJC.. He'll be a project to get his game rounded out... he can find soft spots and he can score tho.
Greig is a fun player to watch

Roster Notes:
The Belleville Sens will have Mads Sogaard in goal tonight, backed up by Kevin Mandolese.
Cedrick Andree, Jonathan Davidsson, Curtis Douglas, Brandon Fortunato, Jack Kopacka, and Zach Magwood are out for Belleville.
Previous History:
The Belleville Senators kickoff a four game set against Manitoba Moose tonight, after meeting them six times so far this season. The Sens are 1-4-1-0 against the Moose heading into tonight’s match-up, and overall sitting in 3rd place in the Canadian Division with 27 points.
Who to Watch:
Roby Jarventie was selected by the Senators with the team’s first of three second-round picks (33rd overall) at the 2020 NHL Draft. He recently completed his first full professional season in Finland, with Ilves Tampere (SM-Liiga), where he led team rookies and ranked fifth in overall scoring with 25 points (14 goals, 11 assists) while registering 16 penalty minutes and skating in 48 of the team’s 51 games. Tonight will be Jarventie’s first game for Belleville.

Didn't he also cool off significantly with Ilves Tampere after returning from WJC? Possibly 18 year old body having a hard time keeping up with pros.

Yeah he wasn't good at the WJC. Mann apparently did say that his shot really impressed him already and commented it might be better than sokolov's. So..he's got that going for him.
