I was at both the Men's and Women's gold medal games in Salt Lake back in '02. I think if I had to hear Oh Canada one more time my TV would have paid the price.
The shoulder drop froze the Canadian goalie, but she recovered well with the outstretched glove, so just the wrist action to slide it by her was impressive.
That move would have been impressive in a men's game.
Forgot to mention if the US women didn't win I would have been bitching about the no call for 7 women on the ice and the no call Canadian women's shoulder to the head.
No need now other than to say changes need to be made in all hockey leagues.
