How do you guys think Dahlins offence compares to Hughes? I think they are on a similar level in that regard... of course though Dahlin also has size and superior defensive play, while Hughes is a midget with a gambling problem.

Amen. Put it this way, I think Svechnikov is a 1 in a million athletic savant. Watching him is like watching a falcon f*** up a pigeon in mid air. He's like a force of nature. But Dahlin somehow manages to be clearly ahead.



Watch this, at 2:34 at half speed. What in the actual f*** is that? Then watch the rest of the video and realize that these are pros, some of whom have NHL games, and in one of those clips, he was 16.

Dahlin is like Malkin on defense. There's just no comparison between anyone but Svechnikov in this draft, and in last draft, and in 2016 also. (Ok, maybe Matthews and Laine.)

Watching Dahlin play is like watching hardcore porn for the first time.
