Buffalo confirms.

We feel that Nylander is a bluechip prospect and Pu will only get better, but unfortunately, they declined our suggestion of going the college route. As a result of our struggling farm team and not being part of the 'frat boy club', we decided that they would get a better opportunity and develop within another organization. Getting two young roster players that can make an immediate impact is exactly the type of trade the Sabres wanted to make.

We expect both Carlo and Bjork will step in and be important contributors to our team that fit the age of our young core.

We feel like we paid premium but in our eyes Holtby is top five goaltender in the world and we're super excited to bring him to the organization. This move makes us legit playoff team that has to be taken seriously.
