I wonder if Grönborg will have any interest in players like Johan Larsson, Jacob Josefson, Joakim Nordström, Jonathan Ericsson, Klas Dahlbeck. They could be good role players for this team.

And is veterans like Edler and N.Kronwall still good enough? Would be kind of cool to see a brother pairing: S.Kronwall - N.Kronwall.

Without knowing what players Garpenlöv, Popovic and Grönborg are interested they are all in N.A right now. They have a schedule and counting the teams they see there looks like this:

Nashville 3 games
Colorado 3
Montreal 3
Dallas 3
Detroit 3
Carolina 3
Arizona 2
Florida 2
Boston 2
Toronto 2
St Louis 2
Washington 2
Vancouver 2

And some other teams too that they only see once...

Linus Omark, Linus Klasen

I doubt that Möller will play this year considering his wife is sick. Lindström has said no thanks for now and will probably not play. (Unless you have any other info?)

Too bad about Loui! He is on of my favourites and always does a good job.

I also doubt that Lindblom will play. He hasn't been playing much in Europe hockey tour. But you never know. A lot of players that will play well on the coming playoff has a good chance.

I think every Swede in Predators has said they want to play if available. We could potentially even get Karlsson if Ottawa has an early exit from the playoffs. How does this work, though? Can the NT brass wait out the entire first round of the playoffs before settling on a team? What spots / how many can they leave open? When's the deadline to announce the team?

Benning just said on Team 1040 that Jonathan Dahlen is getting consideration to play on the team.

Not true.

Canucks have probably inquired about getting him to come overseas now that his season is finished(still playing J20 though). Remember though that the national team have dibs on players that have finished their seasons in Europe, and I definitely see Dahlén getting invited to one of the early WC camps and perhaps even stick around for a little bit. Meaning that there's technically a consideration, at the very least in their POV.

I could see something like this happen.

Forsberg - Backlund - Arvidsson
Nyquist - Rask - Lindholm
Eriksson Ek - Sundström - Lindblom
Brodin - Lundqvist - Klingberg
Omark, Norman

S.Kronwall - Klingberg
Tömmernes - Gustafsson
Ahnelöv - Rundblad
Bertilsson - Borgman

Lehner
Markström
Nilsson

Like that first line, that is a proper line that could play in the olympics as well.

Would like to see Lander get a spot. Great defensively while having the best ppg in the AHL (by far).

I'm definitely hoping for a long playoff run for the Oilers.

If they, however, don't make it very far, Klefbom and Larsson should be locks on team Sweden. Great defensemen with great chemistry.
They deserve some more attention back home.

Considering OEL and Klingberg are very likely to play and there is a real possibility that Hedman will also join, Hersley's qualities might actually be redundant. I've always liked hersley but he should not be a lock.

That is 3 players, there are more than 3 D on the team. But yeah not a lock, but he should get a invite

I don't think OEL will play anymore his mother just died. Damn best wishes to him and his family.
