It means "broken". Dead in german is "Tod" Done is "fertig"
"kaputt" (written with a double t in German) most definitely means broken. Dunno where it comes from though and apparently Wikipedia doesn't know for sure either.
Drago will Kaput you.
I believe it also has some origin in Polish as well"kaputt" (written with a double t in German) most definitely means broken. Dunno where it comes from though and apparently Wikipedia doesn't know for sure either.
He's too short to be a captain.Busty McBustface

Mittlestadt and Suzuki would never captain team Sweden. Just saying
He's not Vilardi/Middlestadt/etc so what's the point? He's a bust.Isn’t Lias being named Captain a pretty big deal?
I think it was just so expected... He’s been that guy. They only question mark with him is where his offensive upside is.Isn’t Lias being named Captain a pretty big deal?

Cuz I’m like wow this kid we just drafted is captain for a big hockey country, and there’s not much reaction on here.It is but shush.
I'm sorry, but this thread is for tongue-in-cheek groupthink only. Please leave if you have something logical, constructive, or thought-provoking to contribute.Cuz I’m like wow this kid we just drafted is captain for a big hockey country, and there’s not much reaction on here.

I know some kids can play in the WJC for two years past their draft year. Can Lias play both this year and next year?
A player is eligible to play in the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships if:[10]
- the player is of the male gender;
- the player has his 20th birthday in the year of the tournament's ending (i.e. born in 1994 for 2014 tournament), and at latest, the fifth year after the tournament's ending (i.e. born in 1999 for 2014 tournament);
- the player is a citizen in the country he represents;
- the player is under the jurisdiction of a national association that is a member of the IIHF.
I don't think it has any bearing on how he'll project in the NHL. Past Swedish captains include Anton Lander, Johan Larsson and Andreas England for example.It is but shush.
