-UFA Austin Lotz (Tucson) has signed with the Jacksonville Icemen (ECHL affiliate of Winnipeg). Lotz started the season playing in the CSHL a senior hockey league based in the Winnipeg area. The Icemen needed a goaltender due to the trickle down effect caused by Steve Mason's injury. Link

PENGUINS SIGN DEFENSEMAN KEVIN SPINOZZI

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed defenseman Kevin Spinozzi to an American Hockey League contract for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.

Spinozzi has been with the Penguins on a professional tryout agreement since September when he made the team out of training camp. The first-year pro has appeared in six games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season and earned his first AHL point with an assist yesterday, Friday, Dec. 15, 2017 at Hartford.

As mentioned above, Spencer Abbott has joined the Swiss club of Kloten. Abbott never reported to Binghamton after being traded from San Diego.

I've also removed Vladimir Bobylev's name from the list. The Leafs' prospect had reportedly signed a AHL contract with Toronto but he has been playing in Russia since the beginning if the season.

I'm also trying to find an update on Radovan Bondra's situation. Rockford's Bondra has been recalled from the ECHL on Novemer 25 but he has yet to dress for a AHL game.
