In a related move, the Amerks have recalled defenseman Eric Knodel from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

There were conflicting reports regarding Knodel's status however this seems to confirm that he is signed to a AHL SPC.

The Texas Stars also acquired forward Tyler Kelleher from the Milwaukee Admirals in exchange for future considerations.

Kelleher, 23, has appeared in 26 games this season for the Admirals with 12 points (7-5=12). The 5-foot-6, 168-pound native of Longmeadow, Mass. is currently in his rookie AHL season after competing for four years at the University of New Hampshire from 2013-2017.

- Cleveland Monsters PTO F Terry Broadhurst has signed an AHL SPC with the club, per AHL Transactions.

Broadhurst was limited to one goal in his first 11 games. However, he's been on fire since the start of January, having scored 17 points (6G-11A) in his past 16 games.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have acquired forward Joseph Cramarossa in a trade with the Stockton Heat in exchange for forward Colin Smith.

Cramarossa is a fifth-year pro that skated in 59 in National Hockey League games last season for the Anaheim Ducks and Vancouver Canucks. During his time in the NHL, Cramarossa racked up four goals and six assists for 10 points. The Toronto, Ontario native was in his first season with Stockton and has accrued 10 points (3G-7A) in 37 games so far in 2017-18.

Smith leaves the Penguins having notched five goals and 13 assists for 18 total points over the course of 35 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
