Weeks is better than months I guess. I hope they don't rush Lindholm back because of it, we can take another loss or two let's just get our guys healthy:

Also Megna should slot in as number 3 LD over Beauchemin

if we can not rush cam back that'd be good. we'll bandaid this season and hopefully squeak in around 6-8th and and have everyone healthy by PO's.

1. Who will replace Fowler on PP1 before Lindholm/Vatanen is back?

And 2. Who of Lindholm/Vatanen would you like to see on PP1 when both healthy?

1. Montour. Stephens said first PP unit is Rakell, Kase, Perry, Getzlaf (point) and Montour.

As far as #2: I'd like see Montour on both units if we can manage his ice time right. Definitely want to see a healthy Vatanen on first PP unit though.

Ducks right wing Patrick Eaves is currently resting comfortably in stable condition at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach after being diagnosed with what is suspected to be Guillain-Barré syndrome, a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks the peripheral nervous system. After feeling symptoms of weakness, Eaves visited specialists Dr. Robert Watkins Sr. and Dr. Danny Benmoshe last week, which later led to Eaves being diagnosed and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the hospital. Eaves' condition stabilized over the weekend and he was transferred out of the ICU.

Without reading up on it I wonder how fast acting that disease is. It's not curable.

I read something that said the symptoms can develop over hours or a few weeks. So it seems to come on pretty quick. Glad they were able to act on it and get him admitted and treated (I assume) so fast.

We are cursed I tells ya.

Feel sad for Eaves that he keeps having health problems from injury to now this keeping him from being able to fully enjoy his his hockey career.

Never change, Ducks. Never change

Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos reported Saturday that Fowler would be sidelined from four to six weeks, but Carlyle scoffed. No official timeline has been given, though it’s clear that it will be a lengthy period.
“I don’t know where Kypreos gets his knowledge,” Carlyle said. “You guys might be better served to tell me who he’s calling. He didn’t call me. I don’t think he called (Ducks GM) Bob Murray or I don’t think he called our medical staff. I don’t know where he’s getting his information.”

Finally some injury news I can get behind, it's too bad Fowler is out otherwise our defence would be looking pretty awesome with Vatanen back in the near future.
