Earlier Bob said he refused to put a timetable on it. I think many are speculating December at the earliest but possibly not until the new year.

The "good news" on Eaves is that he didn't get worse in response to treatment. So...I dunno, it sounds like not soon.

I don't know. To me that sounds like they might be out for a while longer. Wouldn't they be skating with the rest of the team if they were close to returning?

Did not return to the game after suffering what the Ducks officially called an upper-body injury. Kase turned toward the net in the offensive zone and was hit by Flames defenseman Dougie Hamilton.

He's pretty obviously got a concussion. Not his first either he missed most of his rookie AHL year with one. Hope he is ok and we don't see another Despres situation.

I was wondering that because I don't think Fiore was sent down to San Diego, and a roster spot was needed for Eaves coming off IR.

Yesterday's scratches:

Fiore - healthy scratch
Megna - healthy scratch
Ritchie - day to day injury
