Gibson didn't skate today, listed day to day with LBI. But no goalie called up. Seems weird

Apparently Eaves was practicing today in full gear. I know it doesn't mean much but that's a huge step for him.

Nope. He's day to day, as usual with him. Soonest he'd start I guess would be Sunday, but I'd be surprised if he starts again before the deadline.

Gibson's been unable to finish games due to injury FIVE times this season.

I don't think he hurt himself trying to sell it. His ankle seemed to twist quite a bit on the contact. Hope he didn't tear any of his ligaments.

I’m wondering if the team/training staff has taken a new approach this years with Gibson- that if he is not absolutely 100% he doesn’t play (even mid-game). Seems like the last couple years he played through dings that lead to longer term absences, but this year he has just had several short term/minor “injuries”.
