The British dominated finishing with 4 of the top 8. I can't wait for the Ryder Cup. Ian Poulter is in danger of missing the Ryder Cup and the US Open due to poor play. I posted the American Ryder Cup standings and bolded the current team above.

If Willett was #1 in the world and Spieth was #100, the story would have been the best player won. The rankings influence our perception so much.

Speith's 12th was tough to watch. Here's hoping he bounces back from this collapse stronger mentally.
I was basically staring at the TV screen for a long period of time I was in such shock.

And by the way, not to start an argument, but it was even more frustrating to hear him say that he basically went faster on #12 because he felt comfy that those prior 2 bogeys would not cost him the tourney. Had he stuck with his "methodical" approach....slow as it may have been......that collapse may not have happened. And this is why I had no problem during the weekend with his slow play & why I was furious that he was put on the clock Friday. Apologies to those who dislike his slow play.

Spieth will be fine. When he wins the US Open and then wins The Masters next year, he'll be like, meh w/e.

The story would be the guy who was leading all week and built his biggest lead of the week starting the back nine on Sunday and then totally fell apart.

The story is exactly what it should be. Jordan threw the tournament away way more than Willet won it. Going for b2b Masters as well. The story should 100% be Spieth. It topped what Norman did in 1996, falling short only of Van De Velde as the biggest melt downs in my life.

This.

Before the round began, I figured someone in contention who was at even par or +1 (other than Langer & Kaufman) would shoot a 67 or 66 meaning J.Spieth would have needed to go -3 to win. Sure enough had he gone -3 he'd have beaten Willet by 1.

I forgot about that one. I think its easier when he lost a lead after two rounds. He had the lead after the 2012 US Open as well. Didn't he also have the lead at the 2012 PGA Championship after two rounds? The harder ones for me are the ones where Tiger was right there with a chance in the final round.

When is Tiger going to come back to golf? I'm so excited for that. I just really hope he comes back like the 2012 or 2013 Tiger and not the 2010 or 2011 one.

The PLAYERS is a decent guess, if I had to stake my life on it. By all accounts, he seems somewhat close. Hope he's learned how to hit fairways... good way to protect the back, methinks.

Ian already had to be a C's pick the last two times. After 2012, it was an obv choice, but since he only picked up one point in 2014 (2 halves) and it's gotten more crowded, he's def in trouble.
