No Mac and Turris reunion

I like putting Brassard a LH play making center with Ryan
and splitting LW Hoffman a shooter / goal scorer and RW Ryan a shooter on different lines.

The HST line was on fire the first couple months last year.

I'm sure they'll get juggled

Inferring a lot from training camp (Flyers have been using placeholders for guys at World Cup, but pretty easy to see who they are there for) so far but it seems quite possible that the Flyers are erring towards:
LW|C|RW
Brayden Schenn|Claude Giroux|Wayne Simmonds
Michael Raffl|Sean Couturier|Jakub Voracek
Scott Laughton|Nick Cousins|Dale Weise
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare|Boyd Gordon|Matt Read
Chris VandeVelde

LD|RD
Michael Del Zotto|Shayne Gostisbehere
Ivan Provorov|Radko Gudas
Nick Schultz|Mark Streit
Andrew MacDonald|Brandon Manning

G
Steve Mason
Michal Neuvirth

Though ofc a lot can change before the season starts.

Looks like Montreal is trying this on defense after having Petry on the left side today:

Petry - Weber
Markov - Emelin
Beaulieu - Pateryn

Nikita Soshnikov was shut down by the Leafs because of a hamstring problem. He'll start the season in the AHL, per Mike Babcock. (c)

It look like Shaw will be playing on the 3rd line since Arturri Lehkonen will get a chance to play in MTL top6.

in Nashville, Tony Bitetto is definitely going to be in the mix. Looks like Ryan Ellis is still hurt, so Carle and Y. Weber may be the bottom pairing, but as soon as Ellie is back, Carle will see pine.

Fiala may grab a spot as well.

Rangfers haven't completely ironed out their roster yet, however it appears that Kreider and Zibanejad are going to pair up. In addition to that, Stepan has played with Vesey and the duo looked really good. The RW's on each line aren't worked out.

My guess for top 6 after training camp...

Chris Kreider Mika Zibanejad Mats Zuccarello
Jimmy Vesey Derek Stepan Rick Nash

Will be easier to label out 3rd and 4th line after cuts. Way too many players still on the roster. Injuries factor as well...Jooris, Lindberg.

Barring any trade Miller and Hayes are locks for 3rd line.
Barring any trade Grabner and Fast are likely mainstays on 4th line

Pirri has been a beast. Making really hard for Buchnevich to stick.

For the D. Holden and Clendaning have been solid in preseason. They are making it hard for Skjei and McIlrath. Next game will be very telling.

Best guess at the Hawks right now

:hawks (x - x - x)
LW|C|RW
Artemi Panarin|Jonathan Toews|Richard Panik
Alexandre Fortin|Artem Anisimov|Patrick Kane
Andrew Desjardins|Nick Schmaltz|Ryan Hartman
Tyler Motte|Marcus Kruger|Marian Hossa

LD|RD
Duncan Keith|Brent Seabrook
Brian Campbell|Trevor van Riemsdyk
Michal Kempny|Michal Rozsival
Suspended: Niklas Hjalmarsson
G|
Corey Crawford
Scott Darling
Fortin is no sure thing, although I like his chances. IF he doesn't make it, Schmaltz is probably the 2L and Hinostroza is the 3C. Hinostroza could also beat out Hartman. Forsling may start in place of Kempny.

Konecny started the last game on the third line but was moved to the second line in the last half of the game and the line took off. Second line didn't do much until they moved Konecny to it. He also practiced with the second line yesterday, so it looks like if he makes the team it will be on the second line. Bumps Raffle to third line.

Kreider-Zibanejad-Buchnevich

And the rest look like this for the moment:
Nash - Stepan - Zucc
Vesey - Hayes - Miller
Grabner - Jooris - Fast
Pirri
Injured - Lindberg

Pirri has a chance to get into the line up but it's unclear whom he would displace.
