I'm guessing that the Sharks lines are something more like:

Meier-Thornton-Pavelski
Boedker-Couture-Donskoi
Marleau-Hertl-Goldobin
Nieto-Tierney-Ward

Also Dell is much more likely to be backup over Grosenick.

Isles look right.

I'd prefer Kulemin and CHimera switched but I suspect they'll start the year with the CCC line (although that line would likely be the nominal 3rd line).

So long as Bailey doesn't play I'm happy

EDIT: Leddy-Hamonic is definitely the top pairing, over CDH-Boychuk

There are things I would do differently on the Habs but this is pretty much the consensus. Could you add the most likely extra roster players as well? I think that would be Flynn, Terry and Barberio for the Habs.

Upon second look, that 4th line played together last year and it was always Byron - Danault - Mitchell rather than Danault - Mitchell - Byron.

Sorry! Don't do the extra players, if I do it for one team I'd have to do it for all of them and once the season starts, that can get a little insane for me.

Will make the 4th line change though.

I have him and Polak switching as the 7th. Only reflected Polak on here cause I think he'll probably get Game 1 of the season.

here's what's known:
- Coach PauMau recently sounded like he really wanted to go with Scheifele-Little-Perreault as center depth. Moving Perreault back to center. Wonder what role Pittsburgh and Nick Bonino played in that decision.
- Coach PauMau also said that the successful Schwheelers (Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler) line should be coming back for camp.
- Coach PauMau said that he sees Matthias as a winger. Matthias mainly played left wing for Vancouver and Toronto. You somehow have this >$2M guy as a pressbox forward, probably missed him.
- GM Cheveldayoff mentioned that he's happy with his top4 of Byfuglien, Enstrom, Trouba, Myers. Could be a good indication of going back to the very successful Trouba-Byfuglien pairing, with a train wreck third pairing. But maybe we'll just go straight back to the Chiarot-Byfuglien, Stuart-Trouba gongshow featuring third period Trouba-Buff and bench shortening again.
- Last year, the Jets signed Andrew Copp (a 4th round pick) out of UMichigan. His college coach Berenson said in an interview "he certainly isn't signing to play in the AHL". Copp this year - 77 games NHL, 0 games AHL - he was right. This year, the Jets signed Kyle Connor (17th overall) out of UMichigan. Guess he's on the roster, probably LW.
- Comments about "we like to develop goalies a lot, we don't want to rush them". Lots of them. Ok, Hellebuyck is still waiver exempt. Pavelec-Hutchinson it is.

For the Flyers seems about right apart from LW.

Raffl is most likely 2LW.

Laughton/Read could go either way for 3LW... depends on how hard they are going to make 4th line minutes... if really heavy could well see a Read--Gordon--Bellemare 4th line.

If Read and Bellemare are playing on the same line, Read would be RW and Bellemare LW.

There's no way Iginla is still a top line player anymore. He'll likely start on the second line next year, but only because of who he is and how much money he makes, but he'll fall out of that spot quickly. Last year he was mostly a 3/4 line power play specialist.

Also, Duchene played RW most of last season, and MacKinnon played center all year. Rantanen is likely done playing center too, it was an interesting experiment but drafting Jost likely means they see him as a RW going forward.

I see line combos for the Avs looking (ideally) more like this. It's up in the air though, a lot of other Avs fans have different ideas. Nobody knows for sure because we have so many questions about the top 4 D and at least two untested/tweener players in the top six.

Would also swap Grabner and Glass and put Jensen on the 3rd line instead of Glass. Think he will make the team. Looked great in the world championship. Scratch Glass

I suppose so. Read really does prefer RW and has said so even though visually he is the same at LW.

Yeh, if Read ended up on 3rd line it would be at LW with Weise at RW, but if on 4th more likely at RW with Bellemare at LW. (though Bellemare has played all three positions for Flyers.)

Nestrasil likely stays on a line with Nordstrom and Staal given that line's chemistry last season
Peters indicated at Summerfest today that he intends to have Teravainen play center

For the Rangers, on the 3rd line, Buchnevich should be on the RW, and Grabner on the LW. The defense should also probably have Girardi on the 1st pair, Klein on the 2nd, and McIlrath on the 3rd. The left side looks fine unless they find a way to put Holden in.
