Nice adjustment on Colorado, that is about as good of a guess as you're going to get at this point.

That roster would look pretty damn good if only Iginla played like a 5.5M player.

Unlikely AV plays 2 young dmen together, and he (hopefully) realizes Girardi is no longer a top pairing guy.

Skjei - Girardi
Staal - McIlrath

Thats a slighty regressing line-up IMO, Kings could even struggle to make the playoffs this year with other teams improving.

You don't think Cracknell or Bodnarchuk will make the team?
Surely at least the former will, no?

I'll take a shot at it

Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler
Laine-Little-Stafford
Connor-Perreault-Burmistrov
Matthias-Lowry-Dano

Trouba-Byfuglien
Enstrom-Myers
Stuart-Postma

Pretty close, but Armia needs to be in the mix as well (waiver eligible whereas Dano is not). Also I think Burmi gets used as a C where he seems to perform better & Lowry moves to wing

Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler
Laine-Little-Stafford
Connor-Perreault -Armia
Matthias-Burmistrov - Lowry

In reality though, lots of ?? whether Connor makes the starting lineup (only if he has a real good TC is my bet). I'm also quite sure that the much despised Thorburn sneaks onto the 4th line (so lines 3 & 4 still in a state of flux)

I would be surprised if Cracknell did. It was assumed by Stars fans that he was a depth AHL signing. As for Bodnarchuk, I don't see him cracking the NHL roster. There are already eight defensemen above him in the NHL who require waivers (the normal top six and Oleksiak/Nemeth) and even more down in Austin (Lindell, Honka, Backman, etc...).

The defence definitely. The forward group however is pretty good especially the top 6

McNabb-Doughty
Muzzin-Martinez
Gravel- xxxx
pretty much this is going to be the d lineup at first day

It's far from the worst. Two lines anchored by doughty and muzzin is far from terrible plus Martinez is above average

A couple of tweaks to :canes.

Jeff Skinner / Victor Rask / Lee Stempniak
Andrej Nestrasil / Jordan Staal / Joakim Nordstrom
Sebastian Aho / Elias Lindholm / Teuvo Teravainen
Bryan Bickell / Jay McClement / Viktor Stalberg
Phil DiGiuseppe

Jaccob Slavin / Justin Faulk
Noah Hanifin / Brett Pesce
Ron Hainsey / Ryan Murphy
Matt Tennyson

Cam Ward
Eddie Lack

I'm pretty certain Bill Peters plans to start with Stempniak on Skinner and Rask's right side. He'll at least begin the year with the same Jordan Staal line that was pretty dominant for a couple of months last season (more of a shut down line). The wild card line with be the ALT Euro line where either Teravainen or Lindholm could slot in at center.

Phil DiGiuseppe, who really earned his shot last year and made the most of it, is another question mark. If he has another great camp he's going to force some thinking on a variety of players (Nestrasil, Nordstrom, Bickell, for example) and could easily replace one of those guys.

Justin Faulk was reported at less than 100% in July so an eye will have to be kept on that situation. He didn't do himself any good by coming back from his injury too early at the end of last season. So there's a chance that Haydn Fleury or Roland McKeown could sneak into the mix on defense.

just switched boro and wideman to their correct sides.
Paul could also be one of Dzingle, Puempel or Pyatt

Thanks. I'm going to leave Smith on the 3rd line for now, move Lazar up, and insert Paul into the line up on the 4th line moving Kelly to center until some other Sens fans also weigh in on this. Also made the Wideman switch.

I agree with your line-up, Smith will be playing as the 3rd line LW this season and if MacArthur can produce like he used too, i can easily see Smith playing on the second line also.
