Soderstrom looks bad, I mean Koskinen/Nilsson bad. I am hating this WJC. Worst one for Islander's fans in years.

I don't get worked up about the WJC. It's one silly tournament that barely registers anywhere outside of Canada.

It sure registers in Finland and Sweden. Lot of media publicity here. There are other places outside Canada than US.

that 2 on 1 save Sorokin made was unbelievable, probably the save of the tournament.

Sorokin looked amazing in both games against Canada.

McDavid is a damn good hockey player.

Max Domi doesn't fight.

Didn't see the full game, but I heard 2 out the 3 goals Sorokin gave uo were weak goals, 2 on 1 not withstanding. I also heard he made some other good saves. Very inconsistent, which is not shocking for a 19 year old goalie. That being said, just witnessing his play throughout the year, I'm very excited about him as a prospect, I think he's going to be a good NHL goalie.

Canada -1.5 was a lock, right?? How did that bet do?

look at the history between these two power houses and you would see that was not a lock at all. most games are one goal games. i would have said the smart money was for Canada not to cover that spread.
