Giving Price 11 days off was obviously a factor. Pitchers are creatures of habit. They can really be thrown off by messing with their routine. When pitchers have things changed up on them the results are often negative.

I fear that even if Donaldson is in tomorrow, his focus might be a bit shaken.

I'm pretty sure you don't get rocked in the head like that and wake up the next day feeling fine.

If Price pitched a complete game shutout today would you have said "Thanks Gibby, great move!"?

Did a Price look out of routine? Or did he look like Price who hasn't the been great in the playoffs? Or the Price that has had career struggles vs Texas?

Gibbons plan to coast the end of the season away ... And now they've lost 5 of 6.

I'm not saying the Jays can't overcome the situation. They are the better team. How many other starters had as much time off as Price ? What is Price's record with 9 days rest ?
