certainly less significant than a primary assist.
By what measure? Two comes after one?

I mean we all knew this argument was coming as soon as someone handed him the stats to make it
So are you saying that you like using only statistics that prove your point? Quite a well rounded argument you make to keep Nash. Manipulation works both ways.
Can we pretend primary assists dont happen without secondary assists. Nash needed someone to set him up so he could make those 2 secondary assists. So in reality he had only 5 points.

A secondary assist is probably the closest statistic to stat padding as they come.
What about his meaningless goals?
LeBrun said Eric Staal's agent is going to meet with Ron Francis to decide on his future.
One year left at 8.25m. Full NTC.
Seems like a Sather type move.

lol.lol incoming Nash for Staal trade proposals for a month.
More significant were his goals than his secondary assists.
Even empty net goals are harder to achieve than secondary assists.
lol incoming Nash for Staal trade proposals for a month.
lol.
but still not as bad as the Kessel for Nash suggestions.
Okay so a late goal in a blowout game, winning or losing, is more important than a secondary assist on a gaming tying goal, or GWG?
You have no idea how badly I want Kessel on this team
Pretty good post. If Nash is traded, IMO that's the time to blow-up the whole team.If you support trading Nash, that's fine. You have to also be supporting a major step backwards for this team. Something they shouldn't be taking at this point in time.
One more shot with Nash and a 34 year old Lundqvist. If its another cupless year, then reassess all options.
They should be looking to get Nash a running mate thats not the corpse of MSL.

Need a right-handed sniper.
And Stralman, of course.
Danny Briere? Really? Let's see what Bill Guerin's up to
