I mean we all knew this argument was coming as soon as someone handed him the stats to make it

So are you saying that you like using only statistics that prove your point? Quite a well rounded argument you make to keep Nash. Manipulation works both ways.

Can we pretend primary assists dont happen without secondary assists. Nash needed someone to set him up so he could make those 2 secondary assists. So in reality he had only 5 points.

And of those 5 only 2 mattered. Nash had 2 points in 19 games. Trade.

LeBrun said Eric Staal's agent is going to meet with Ron Francis to decide on his future.

One year left at 8.25m. Full NTC.

Seems like a Sather type move.

More significant were his goals than his secondary assists.

Even empty net goals are harder to achieve than secondary assists.

Okay so a late goal in a blowout game, winning or losing, is more important than a secondary assist on a gaming tying goal, or GWG?

If you support trading Nash, that's fine. You have to also be supporting a major step backwards for this team. Something they shouldn't be taking at this point in time.

One more shot with Nash and a 34 year old Lundqvist. If its another cupless year, then reassess all options.

They should be looking to get Nash a running mate thats not the corpse of MSL.

Pretty good post. If Nash is traded, IMO that's the time to blow-up the whole team.

Which final 4 team trades their best forward (by far) and can still remain as equally competitive?

Need a right-handed sniper.

And Stralman, of course.

Yes. This notion that a fictional return and cap space puts the Rangers in better position is bunk. And Im convinced its being pushed by a contingent that'd rather see big trades than assess whats best for the team.
