Well, that was quite the way to say farewell to Andrew Copp.

Jets got the win they needed against Chicago, but nothing's ever easy for the Jets. Seeing all your favorites find the net is a good thing. May Connor's point tally grow and grow.

Altogether, a pretty good run for the Jets as of late, but the finish line may still be out of sight. What will Tradecentre bring us? The game on Tuesday will bring us some new faces (Manitoba Moose factor is play big in this final month of the season).

Moose won earlier, and now Jets make it double!

They have scored in the last few games but it feels like Connor-Dubois-Ehlers are less than the sum of their parts. No way near as dominant as you'd expect that collection of personel to be when on the ice together. That line looked more dominant with Svech.

Why the heck is Wheeler out there again for the last minute after getting his obligatory empty net goal.
He’s not fresh and we have a guy who has a chance at his first NHL hat trick. They’ve done this before.
Need to give those guys a chance with a hattrick on the line and a two goal lead.
Unless Wheeler was a great defensive player, which he isn’t.

Wheeler scored at the beginning of his EN shift, he was fresh.

They pulled it out but not a game that should give management confidence. The team once again had way too many breakdowns and sloppy puck management.

Helle was off and on. Made big saves but also let in a garbage goal to give the Hawks life late.

Another strong night by DeMelo and JoMo. They contributed on both ends and I believe we're on for 4 goals for and zero against.

The other four dmen all had up and down games.

Scheifele played a very good all around game tonight and was busting his ass both ways. If he played like this more very few would complain. Stastny blew a number of good looks today but if this is his last game he goes out on a high note. Wheeler was good tonight as well.

Ehelers and Conner played well and Dubois was fine. There is too much skill on that line and too many players that like the puck on their stick. When Cole gets back I'd like to see three scoring lines.

Third line was great and I have no clue why Lowry broke it up in the third. It messed up the flow of two lines. Mice two goal game by Harkins, Copp looked right at home in the middle and that should get more teams interested. Svech played a nice balanced game.

Fourth line wasn't all that noticeable.

Two many guys who want the puck and want to do things with it. You need one player who doesn't need the puck a lot and allows the other two to do their thing.

We can't afford for that person to be Dubois.

Well, well, well. I guess yahoo! Almost letting that one slip away is not acceptable. This will be the lowest scoring Luc Stamps of Approval win due to our shoddy defensive effort.

Look to the Chicago skyline and it is nothing but a beautiful sight, the goals and thus the victory.

On the other hand, look into the harbour clearly Hellebuyck and the Jets defense are taking on water having given up at least 3 goals in 17 of the last 18 games (not playoff material).

In 5 games together that line has 21 points. They're averaging a 1.4 points per game pace between 3 players. The only individual player above that this season is Connor McDavid. Now obviously they won't maintain that pace, but I'm fine with giving them some more time together at this point.
