It's time to meet the Flames again in the Saddledome!

Wild has a horrible away-record (2-4-1) while Flames are having some serious problems at home ice (2-5-2). This might be a match where the stoppable force hits the movable object. Luckily that won't happen as Matt Cullen seems to hit his official "25 games point streak then vanish" -streak. That's a good streak in a season with only 48 games, we just have to hope it doesn't scale down with the games. Also, Backs&Kuemps multishutoutstreak.

****************

Players to watch:

Matt Cullen - Seems to be in beast mode now, expecting 6+3 from him tonight.

Jonas Brodin - Bacon is so tasty. Swedish youngster looks like a 10 NHL season veteran every night and does so many things the right way.

Sven Baertschi - Sven was cleared from his no contact and might be playing in this game. Watch out for this Swiss youngsters speed and nose for the net.

Jarome Iginla - All time scoring leader vs. Wild. Says it all doesn't it.

****************

Possible starting lineup for the Wild:

Parise - Koivu - Heatley
Zucker - Cullen - Setoguchi
Bouchard - Brodziak - Coyle
Rupp - Granlund - Mitchell

Suter - Brodin
Gilbert - Stoner
Spurgeon - Prosser/Falk (Falk was out with flu)

Backstrom
Kuemper

****************

Possible starting lineup for the Flames:

Cammaleri - Tanguay - Iginla
Glencross - Stajan - Stempniak
Cervenka - Horak - Hudler
Jackman - Comeau? - Aliu?
Baertschi (cleared for contact)

JBo - Giordano
Brodie - Wideman
Butler - Sarich
(wheres Anton !?!?!)

Macdonald
Irving

Wild is 4-1-1 in last 6 and in Top-8 in the west.

Hope for a Wild win, we need to get some more points. (the other teams don't need any more points, they are fine)

Brodin with his first goal tonight

Just realized that 8 out of 17 GDT's this season have been created by Finns.

A place.
Haha stoppable force hitting the moveable object. I got a laugh out of that.

But were on national TV (in Canada), so we might be screwed.

Nice GDT as well!

Wild need a win, I would say back to back against Calgary to put themselves in the early playoff hunt for a decent seed #4/5

Wild win 4-1, Parise - Zucker - Brodziak - Suter all score- Suter +2 and my bold prediction is that Backstrom gets a point tonight as well. (A) on Zuckers goal

This game is so big. We FINALLY made the move back into a playoff spot. Not only that, we have one less game played than Dallas and Detroit so we have that advantage as well. We need to create some space between those teams lower than us. We have to win tonight to get this started!

it's not must win but it is huge like you said. Worst case, they need to skate out of here with a point. Calgary isn't strong and without Mikka, we should be expected to win this game, almost easily but that never seems to happen with our Wild.

Thumbs up on the GDT. Wild really need these next 3 very winnable (imo) games against Calgary & Phoenix. If we can get 5+ pts out of the next few days we're back in business.

1 Period wild is sleeping again and have 2 goal deficit at the end
2 period wild scores 2 ,goals by cullen and seto
3 period parisee score the 3-2 winning goal from a brake away

Wild and winning the easy way simply dont happen

Should be an interesting tonight. Could it be possible for us to get two road wins... in a row???

The only prediction I have is that Iginla will score and Greenlay will display his Iginla man-crush through both song and dance.

Great GDT, simple yet effective.

Predicting a game where we actually wake up from the start of the 1st. Wild wins 5-2, but Flames score first. Zucker, Brodin, Heatley, Granlund and Spurgeon with the Wild goals. Iginla and Glencross score for Flames.
