The effort has been there for the Kings, but the Canucks are just on a different tier.
Yeah, the Kings worked very hard and Quick gave it a valiant effort. But when EP, Brock & Hughes are on their game, it's lights out.

Also I’m convinced that Markstrom performs better when he faces shots more frequently
I mean, statistics show most goaltenders are.

I remember doing the stats for Miller vs Lack back in 14-15 and Lack was one of the few goaltenders in the league who got worse as his workload increased while Miller had a more typical profile of increasing save % as shot totals increased.

Hey guys I just got home from work, can somebody give me a quick update on the game.

PP was unreal
Benn Virtanen Miller Pearson Hughes Tanev Horvat Sutter were very good
4th line was not very good, Beagle was good though
Kopitar Carter Doughty came to play
Ferland out with upper body injury from fight

Wow complete domination, should’ve been way worse than 5-3, Kings were fortunate. EP starting to heat up!
