The team hasn’t confirmed it, but sources say he was noticeably favoring a leg with a limp. I think that tells you that it’s a LBI. As for what that actually means, nobody besides the organization knows.
Hopefully just a strained groin that they are waiting for final diagnosis on.

Ok cool. Just wondering how we don't even know if it's even upper or lower body, you know? Even if they wanted to get an MRI or something like that I feel like we would at least have that general sense.

They haven't clarified what Dekeyser's injury is, either, have they? And with Nemeth, didn't they just say it was an "infection?"

Zadina is with GR, so it doesn't entirely fit, but NHL teams are allowed to be ridiculously vague with their injury reports. Just look at the NFL and how injury updates are treated there instead. With sports gambling becoming a bigger thing, I'm surprised there hasn't been a bigger push on the NHL upping its transparency with injury reports.

the speculation here is pretty rampant.
it's interesting that very little was said about Rasmussen's injury.

Oh yeah good point. He's hurt too and I barely heard much about it. Can't even find anything about it with a quick cursory search.

Rasmussen was sent back to Detroit the other day to see a hand specialist. In the last game that he played, he took a slash on his hand (not sure right or left) and he is having problems holding his stick.

Svech played tonight. He had strep throat was the reason he missed playing time and he is slowly trying to regain his strength. Struggled on the ice tonight.

Zadina blocked a shot late in the home Rockford game and his foot swelled up enough for him not to play in Rockford on Saturday. He played tonight and got an assist on the opening goal. Looked pretty good, except when he got rocked a couple of times turning into the Rampage player as they were lining him up.

Puempel took a blind hit in the Rockford game and he did not play here tonight, but he should be ready to go either on Friday (Milwaukee) or Saturday (in Milwaukee).
