Oil own zone defending has been stellar this game. Tons of great goaltender support to clear out blue paint pucks and rebounds. Excellent attention to detail.

If there's one thing the nhl deserves credit for it's 3 on 3 OT cause it's tons of fun.

Oilers haven't adapted to what most teams are doing (i.e., boring circle backs) and the fans benefit.

Excitement basically constantly watching that.

Cant believe this is going to a shootout.., Oilers have been so much worse at OT the last couple years, used to be automatic.

Skinner saved our bacon the first 15 minutes or so despite the haters. Hope he can survive the shootout. Kings shooters are scary.

Probably the surest sign that Drai/Mcdavid are having a bit of a down year is the OT's this year. Last year, 3v3 OT had an air of inevitability about them, when they got the puck it was almost like they were automatic, they don't look anywhere near as dangerous this year.

Hopefully they can get back to that level of swagger and confidence before the playoffs.
