Curious to see how everyone would construct an All Star lineup of their team from the 2005-06 season to the current one. The idea being to build a lineup assuming everyone is at their peak season during that timeframe. So longevity isn't important, but they can only play at the level they played at for your team, and the intention is to win in a season/playoff style format, so chemistry and role is important, and it's not necessarily just the top scorers.
So, for Anaheim, they might do something like:
Bobby Ryan ('11) - Ryan Getzlaf ('14) - Corey Perry ('11)
Andy McDonald ('06) - Ryan Kesler ('15) - Teemu Selanne ('07)
Chris Kunitz ('07) - Saku Koivu ('10) - Andrew Cogliano ('14)
Travis Moen ('07) - Samuel Pahlsson ('07) - Rob Niedermayer ('07)
Ex: Nick Bonino ('14), Dustin Penner ('07)
Francois Beauchemin ('13) - Scott Niedermayer ('07)
Cam Fowler ('14) - Chris Pronger ('07)
Lubomir Visnovsky ('11) - Toni Lydman ('11)
Ex: Hampus Lindholm ('15)
JS Giguere ('07)
Jonas Hiller ('11)
I thought it would be interesting to see how fans think players on their team stack up over the years. Also interesting to see who everyone thinks would be the best team overall.
