Assuming Zaitzev/Polak are healthy and Nylander/Brown may be switched, but those are the lines they were rolling in practice.

I don't know why Babcock doesn't just stack the first line with Nylander/Matthews/Marner

That would be very easy for Trotz to line match and put his best defensive group out against them every shift. Better to spread out the offense across 3 lines like we have all season.

Why the **** is Galchenyuk still on the fourth line

In the coach's doghouse, heck in the organization's doghouse. Probably traded for a 4th liner over the summer. Bergevin loves them so much. Watch him being traded to you guys for Gauthier.

Toews is Hawks 1C and his line is always the Top line (regardless of his wingers) and it's always first puck drop line (at least in home games). It has nothing to do with TOI or points.

The Grind Line in Detroit used to regularly start games and often faced opposing top lines. That didn't make them the 1st line.

Toews may be the top center, but when 2/3 of the "2nd line" regularly play more minutes (and score more points) than the top center than maybe that "2nd line" isn't really the "2nd line."

What a greasy lineup. Leafs are getting swept.
