I've seen the top 4-13 all over the place in mock drafts, which of the players below if available, who would you prefer for the Sens to pick at no.5? The one that I've seen slip the most was Askarov, which doesnt really apply to Ottawa since they have a shit load of young G in their system.

RANK -- SHOOT -- POS -- NATION -- FIRST -- TEAM -- LEAGUE -- HEIGHT -- WEIGHT
4 -- R -- RW/LW -- SWE -- Lucas Raymond -- Frölunda HC -- SHL -- 5'10" -- 183
5 -- R -- D -- CAN -- Jamie Drysdale -- Erie Otters -- OHL -- 5'11" -- 170
6 -- L -- C -- AUT -- Marco Rossi -- Ottawa 67's -- OHL -- 5'9" -- 179
7 -- L -- C -- CAN -- Cole Perfetti -- Saginaw Spirit -- OHL -- 5'10" -- 185
8 -- R -- RW -- SWE -- Alexander Holtz -- Djurgårdens IF -- SHL -- 6'0" -- 182
9 -- L -- G -- RUS -- Yaroslav Askarov -- SKA-Neva St. Petersburg -- VHL -- 6'3" -- 176
10 -- R -- C -- FIN -- Anton Lundell -- HIFK -- Liiga -- 6'1" -- 187
11 -- L -- D -- USA -- Jake Sanderson -- U.S. National U18 Team -- USDP -- 6'1" -- 185
12 -- R -- RW -- CAN -- Jack Quinn -- Ottawa 67's -- OHL -- 5'11" -- 176
13 -- L -- RW -- Dawson Mercer -- Drummondville Voltigeurs -- QMJHL -- CAN -- 6'0" -- 179

Weren't you hoping for Perfetti at one point? If so what changed your mind?
I've always had Rossi and Perfetti super close, but I have always given the edge to Rossi.

I think Rossi, Perfetti,Raymond, Drysdale and Sanderson are all in the same tier to go 4/5.

I like Rossi's complete game, his pace, his motor over Perfetti. I would give an edge to Perfetti on his shot.. I think they both have top of the class IQ, vision, and hands.

Raymond if we go F, Sanderson if we go D. I think Perfetti goes 4, if not then him.

Would not mind Rossi, or even Quinn. Don't want Askarov, Holtz or Drysdale.

You should not leave the site if that doesn't happen. The odds are astronomically low.

Based on what exactly? Laf has yet to play a game in the NHL. Last year people would have you believe Hughes was going to put up 50 points easily and he was barely able to get half of that. Based on my viewings of both, the difference isn't astronomical and Rossi is better in some areas.
