Carol you bitch!
I saw Cocoon.
Quinn got f***ing worked tonight wow
Every night is when you are small like himHe got abused by f'n Boqvist...TWICE.
It was a very bad night defensively for him.
Wait, you're telling me that when you win the goaltending battle you have a high chance of winning games? But I was told our defense was disgraceful and that we were years away from competing?
I think that was the biggest Devils win I’ve seen live. Yeah, Halak and the Nucks defense was terrible, but the offense just clicked. This is the sort of play I was hoping we’d see more of and more consistently this season.
Other notes:
- I got in for free thanks to a ticket rep. He was very hard up to dump a three-game package on me, to the point where he was offering multiple free games if I bought one. Mighty tempting, I gotta say, but I have a wedding to save up for.
- Vaccine checks are still spotty. When I came in against Seattle, I got checked but not my brother in law. This time, I didn’t get checked but I heard someone at the door shout to get proof ready,
- I had a sign that said “I want to see one more live Devils win before we all die,” with the word “die” written wavy in between a Devils logo and a mushroom cloud. It got quite a few laughs, but unfortunately I was eventually told it was inappropriate and tore the sign up. I kinda felt that was going to happen but it was worth it.
- Siegenthaler, a Swiss, has the same skin tone as my wife, who’s Mexican. What gives?
- Our defense looked pretty good. I want to see less frantic, “pass for the sake of passing” bullcrap from them and more games like this.
- Gotta start Daws more than Gillies at this point, IMO. I’d like to see a respectable finish to the season and Gillies just doesn’t cut the mustard for that role.
My first thought on seeing that replay was that it deserved an interference call.I am wondering about the interference rule. On Hamiltons goal, Tatar turns and blocks a Canucks player from pursuing the puck up the boards, freeing up Boqvist from pursuit to create the 2 on 1.
Tatar doesn’t move into the Canuck forwards path. He’s already there. But he does turn and intentionally impede him with a cross check.
Is that arguably interfering? Or is it okay because he’s holding a position he already has?
Got a pic of that sign? I get why you had to get rid of it but that’s great.I think that was the biggest Devils win I’ve seen live. Yeah, Halak and the Nucks defense was terrible, but the offense just clicked. This is the sort of play I was hoping we’d see more of and more consistently this season.

This is so damn funny.
Hughes mom and everyone all happy and everything.....while Dad on the left is like Grumpy-Cat.
Yeah, give me a bit. I'm at work but I can get that uploaded at lunch time.Got a pic of that sign? I get why you had to get rid of it but that’s great.
Looked like it to me because he turns and checks him intentionally - then I began wondering about the rule. He’s not playing the puck. No pretense of that. He actually turns and uses his stick to stop the forward. But he is entitled to occupy his ground. I just don’t maybe understand the rule? Or was it a big time missed call.My first thought on seeing that replay was that it deserved an interference call.
