our back 6 is more important than the forward group, assuming vanek signs here. we have a lot of pieces and probably need to move a couple, like moen/white/ maybe prust, bourque after this year.

The team is very deep up front right now, but our back-end is full of holes because our right side really only has pk.. I'm mixed on emelin, not sure if he likes the right side, or is better on the left???

to think we went the whole year without seeing emelin pk, as a way to replace markov and try to land a better right handed d surprises me. beaulieu and tinordi both play on the left side, so does gorges. there's too much there.

i don't think we re-sign get markov unless it's a steal because the left side is full.

Gionta is making a very good case to keep him. Of course he needs to accept the role.

Bourque is the question mark (Vanek also but don't kill the buzz pls). Prust could take 3rd LW, but that wouldn't be good depth wise. We would need to sign someone in the likes of Bourque without the mental and inconsistency woes.

Andrighetto is the call up.
