Saw this on another hockey board. Hopefully all fanbases can enjoy it including Oiler fans.

Too bad Flames won't have picks in 2023 with the way they are throwing them away. RIP.

"The New York Islanders traded defenseman Griffin Reinhart to the Edmonton Oilers on Friday for the 16th and 33rd picks in the 2015 NHL Draft. The Islanders selected center Mathew Barzal from the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League with the No. 16 pick."

"John Shannon has reported that the Vegas Golden Knights will select defenceman Griffin Reinhart in the expansion draft. Reinhart’s time in Edmonton will likely be remembered more for the cost needed to acquire him from the Islanders than any of his time on ice. Reinhart was acquired prior to the 2015 entry draft for picks 16 and 33, and he was limited to just 30 total games over two years. He spent the majority of 2016-17 in Bakersfield, amassing 21 points (7-14-21) in 54 games."

Yeah. 2 picks compared to like 10 picks. Good job.
