I think the difference would be very small. I think our SV% will improve significantly from last year. We are a better defensive team and have much better goaltending.

I'm not completely sure, but I don't believe the Rangers give up as many odd man rushes as us. The Kings are another heavy forechecking team, so it's possible they do. Although they are a faster team than us, and maybe not as many chances get on net or even get shots off at all. They can recover faster. We give up a lot of odd man rushes, and not all of them go on net. Because we're not very fast a lot of the times it turns into an odd man rush. That's why I'm furious when we're up by a couple goals and still running the heavy forecheck. No need to do that anymore when you have a nice lead. It's too risky.
I'll say it again and again. We win 25% of those blown leads, we are in a solid playoff spot. We win 50% we lead the east. Those blown leads have killed us.
Agreed. Some of the 1 goal leads that were blown you really can't do anything about. Though that Montreal game was a disaster. PK Subban gave us the game with a minute left, and then Adam Henrique does him one better and gives it right back. And then we had to watch PK laughing his ass off when the Habs tied it again.
Some of these blown leads like the 2 or 3 goal blown leads are inexcusable. That Edmonton game really ****ed us early in the season. We were miserable for about 2 or 3 weeks after that. The Columbus blown lead last week shouldn't have happened. We were up 2-0 against Vancouver BOTH times and we wound up losing in OT/shootout both times.
