I have nothing to back me up, but I think this guy probably had more of a hold on the organization than what is likely known or believed, just my opinion. Regardless, if this clown is gone, it only means good things for us.

The same guy who badgered some random Devils fan on twitter, the clown who signs off on all those promotions that get endlessly mocked, making the BB&T center look like the yellow pages, the Panther urinal cakes, the architect of Club Red...... etc etc etc etc.

I've heard people in the know in the NHL have said we can't move forward until he loves on. Not totally sure why, or what depths, and it was said personally to a close friend, but this is an awesome day.

Also, I remember a couple of years ago one of the local news station tried asking him questions about the money he owes Broward for the loan on the BAC. Instead of answering the questions he looked like an idiot and ran away from the camera instead.

I don't care about the marketing dollars he's brought in. He's been a disaster for us.

Also, this notion that he was a necessary evil is just flat wrong in my opinion. Yormark isn't the only man that is capable at being a business man. I am sure if a decent search is done, another qualified individual who isn't as morally and ethically corrupt as that guy is, can do as fine as a job business-wise that Yormark can/did, and not be a quarter of the jerk he was to both fans, and likely others inside the organization and outside it.
