You know honestly I don't think he's a bad person or even a bad coach per se, but a rookie coach being put into this situation was honestly unfair to him too (aside from the fat contract he got from Mac T).

Even the most, hardened, experienced NHL coach in his prime coaching years would have his patience tested to the max here, Eakins was a disaster waiting to happen.

Unfair? Wasn't the word that MacT wanted him as an associate to Krueger but he wouldn't sign unless he was HC? Isn't this why the Krueger firing was so out of left field to him? Arrogance made eakins think he was HC material in this league. Not unfair. His fault.
