Hard to judge him based off what he did on a mediocre NCAA squad, but that one playoff game where he logged just under 60mins as a Freshman gives me hope; that takes a hell of a lot of stamina along with a lot of trust from the coaching staff.

I think Del Mastro is going to be the best of the bunch. Size, shot, IQ, skates well enough for big man, with just enough snarl to make it interesting.

Good news - I think he will be part of the rebuild. He has a shot at being a top-4 guy.
I watched a couple UMD games recently and thought he played pretty well on a team that wasn't very good.

And this kid is a 7th rounder.

That kid also was senior they probably had to give max to so he wouldn't not sign and walk.
