Nope. Not exaggerating at all and Montreal fans playing the victim again when they are the most zealous in constantly pushing deals that are lopsided in Montreal's favour doesn't work. They are rightfully called out for that.

We saw plenty of Edmundson for PLD + deals in the PLD thread for PLD. That when shot down by Jet fans, we were told we were homers and that Edmundson was worth a 1st plus minimum.
I'd love to see the quotes... No way that "Habs fans" all thought Edmunson should be the main piece for PLD.

I doubt anyone suggested Edmundson in a Dubois deal. Anderson and Dvorak mostly because that is the only players on the roster of potentisl value that weren't worth at least as much as Dubois.

MacLellan said today the Montreal doctors told him he was healthy the last 20 games. Habs last 20 games: Edmundson 20 gp, 1 g, 6 a, 7 p, -8, 19:19 avg TOI. Team went 5-13-2 in that stretch.

That last stretch Montreal was fielding a mostly AHL team, without Caufield, Monahan, Slafkovsky, Dvorak and others, so team record and +/- are meaningless...

Also with the heat maps and charts that show a poor on ice impact, that’s when he played a disproportionate amount of minutes against other teams’ top lines

Habs need some veteran D.

Bad trade. They are really overrating. Hartis. Barron. Xhekaj who all looked very very avg.

Wont talk about Guhle. Been made of glass

Personally would have waited until the deadline. Washington Will probably be able to flip him for more valuable if he’s healthy at deadline time.
True, but that means 60 fewer games for Harris or Xhekaj, who both need ice time to develop.

It's not true. There is a 90% chance he is injured long before the trade deadline.

That worked well last season.:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
