Bear is a two-way defenseman who can play PP2 and PK minutes.
He has a career average 18:51 ice time and will not look out of place among the hodgepodge of Safeway Select defenseman
not named Carlson that Washington ices every night, who are all likewise signed to even larger contracts.

Bear is not that great though. Good depth dman but trust me that he was isnt a good dman to rely on, more like a 5th to 6th dman with ability to play in top 4 from time to time but not as a permanent fixture.
